D23 Expo 2022にて発表された、ディズニー・カリフォルニア・アドベンチャーの新エリアの名称が「San Fransokyo Square」に決定、2023年夏オープンが発表されました。現パシフィック・ワーフが生まれ変わります。

サンフランソウキョウは映画「ベイマックス」（Big Hero 6）で登場した、東京とサンフランシスコが融合したような架空の場所。今回のエリアは、ハイテク産業が台頭し、地元の漁業が苦境に立たされる中、起業家たちが一丸となって、海辺の缶詰工場を、食事や買い物ができる近所のレストランや中小企業の集まる活気ある多文化地区として生まれ変わらせています。

When the transformation to San Fransokyo Square is completed in summer 2023, an iconic landmark of the area will be the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge (depicted here), which will span the tide pools linking San Fransokyo Square to the Paradise Gardens Park obelisk. 今回のエリアで特徴的な赤いサンフランソウキョウ・ゲートブリッジは、サンフランソウキョー広場とパラダイスガーデンパークのオベリスクを結ぶ潮だまりにかかる橋で、この地区の象徴的なランドマークとなっています。橋を渡ると、古い漁網のなめし工場に風力発電機が浮かんでいるのが見え、空高くからこの地区の電力を供給しています。

サンフランソウキョウの南端にある倉庫を改造したエリアでは、ベイマックスに遭遇する機会があるかもしれません。パシフィック・ワーフにあるお気に入りのレストランは、この改装中もお楽しみいただけます。

One of the new offerings coming to San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., in summer of 2023, will be the new Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería. This new location draws inspiration from its tri-cultural influences, with signage in English, Japanese and Spanish. なお、新たなエリアに生まれ変わっても、おなじみのスープ入りパンやアジアフードは多数登場する予定です。新たなアジアンテイストのメニューも登場予定です。
