An exciting transformation of Mickey’s Toontown is underway at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., and will officially reopen for guests March 8, 2023. Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard, complete with a playful sound garden, is coming to Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., when it reopens March 8, 2023. Mickey’s Toontown is currently undergoing an exciting transformation into a vibrant symphony of sights, sounds and sensations. Inside Goofy’s house, Goofy has set up a candy-making contraption that only he could imagine. The confectionary contraption begins high outside of Goofy’s home, as drips of honey fall from a beehive onto a chute that slides the colorful drops around and down into the home. From there, junior candymakers will help Goofy make the candy, and the silly sounds of household appliances will combine to make a truly Goofy symphony. One of the new areas coming to Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., on March 8, 2023, will be CenTOONial Park, the first space guests will see when they enter. This natural space will be anchored by two interactive play experiences. At the center of CenTOONial Park will be a fountain, designed for play, which will also become a center icon for Mickey’s Toontown. At its base, water tables will invite guests to play with the water and have a sensory experience. At night, the fountain will be brought to life in a unique spectacle. A nearby dreaming tree with sculpted tree roots will provide an opportunity for children to play, crawl and explore, and undulating topography will offer rolling hills and a place to sit and dream.
