In fall 2022, MagicBand+ makes its momentous debut at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., bringing the wearable technology to the West Coast for the first time. Guests will be able to enjoy a host of convenient capabilities and exciting experiences, including exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland park like never before with the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters interactive quest. Vibrations and lights from MagicBand+ will guide guests to find virtual bounties across Black Spire Outpost. When the bounty is found, guests can use the augmented reality thermal viewer in the Play Disney Parks app to reveal who’s hiding in the shadows.
