新しいリーダーの誕生です。ディズニー・クルーズラインにて、新たな船長“ミニーマウス”が登場します。2019年4月以降、新たな船長であるキャプテン・ミニーマウスが、ディズニークルーズラインの各船に搭乗することが発表されました。これはディズニー・クルーズラインがLJM Maritime Academyとの協業で、バハマの女性士官学校に対して4つの奨学金を後援することになったことからの取り組みです。この奨学金プログラムの中には、ディズニーのクルーズ船に1年間従事するというインターン制度も含まれます。

キャプテン・ミニーマウスはクルーズラインの子供向けアクティビティとして、2019年末には海をテーマにしたSTEM教育（science, technology, engineering, math）に関するプログラムにも登場、船内にあるDisney’s Oceaneer Labにて楽しく学ぶ体験が可能です。また、キャプテン・ミニーマウスはディズニー・クルーズラインのいくつかのホームポートと寄港地にて子どもたちを訪問、地域コミュニティ活動にも従事する予定です。
