場つなぎアトラクションとして……。
The magic of Disney animation and music will come to life in April 2019 in the 3D movie musical “Mickey’s PhilharMagic,” located in the Sunset Showcase Theater at Disney California Adventure Park. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other favorite Disney characters will take guests into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid,” to “Peter Pan” and “Aladdin.” Disney California Adventure Park is located in Anaheim, Calif. ちょっと驚きの発表。2019年4月に新アトラクションとして「ミッキーのフィルハーマジック」がオープンします。場所はディズニー・カリフォルニア・アドベンチャーのSunset Showcase Theater（旧マペットビジョン3D）です。発表からオープンまで1カ月もないという、なかなかびっくりの展開です。
似たような話は、ディズニーランド・パリでも起きていました。既に存在しているシアター施設を使い、現在ミッキーのフィルハーマジックが稼働中です。
ただし、このアトラクションの“フルバージョン”といえる、本家マジック・キングダム、そして東京ディズニーランド、香港ディズニーランドでは横に3つスクリーンがあるのに対比して、ディズニーランド・パリ（そしておそらくディズニー・カリフォルニア・アドベンチャーも）では、もともとの施設を使った1スクリーンバージョンになっているという違いがあります。ラストシーンのドナルドがどう実現されているのかは私も知らないのですが、ディズニーのアトラクションとしてはかなりの可搬性を持つコンテンツなのかもしれません。こういう性質を持ってるのはタートルトークくらいしか知らないですね。
いわれてみれば西海岸には存在しないアトラクションだったので、閑散としたハリウッドエリアにはいいかもしれません。少なくとも映画のプロモーションでしか使われるよりは……。
