2019年1月より、ディズニーランド・リゾートにて（やっと）ミッキーマウス生誕90周年関連イベント「Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration」がスタートします。このイベントは2019年1月18日より夜のエンターテイメント「Mickey’s Mix Magic」からスタートする予定です。

これはディズニーランド全体を使って行われる、花火とプロジェクションのショーで、“DJ”ミッキーが90周年のテーマソング「It’s a Good Time」他、ディズニーの名曲をプロジェクションとともに流すという、ファミリー向けの楽しいダンスパーティーになる予定です。メインストリートU.S.A.、イッツ・ア・スモールワールド、アメリカ河（ファンタズミックが3月に再開された以降）でもプロジェクションが開催され、一部日程においては花火も同時に開催されます。

そして1月25日からは「Mickey’s Soundsational Parade」が再び行われます。そのタイミングで、ミッキーのクラシックでノスタルジックなオモチャフロートが登場（ハピネス・イズ・ヒアで利用されていたもの）。その次にはチップ＆デールが巨大なケーキとともに登場し、ミッキーのドラムフロートに続くという構成に変更されます。

90周年のバレンタインを祝おう

その他にもさまざまなイベントが予定されています。1月22日から2月18日まで、ディズニーランド・リゾートはミッキーとミニーのバレンタインを祝います。メインストリートにはデコレーションが登場し、ディズニーランド内を巡るゲーム「Minnie’s Valentine Surprise」が開催されます。これはマップを購入してパーク内にミニーが隠したバレンタイン関連の何かを探し出すというもの。すべて見つけ出した人にはバレンタインの特別なサプライズをもらえます。

As guests enter Disneyland Park, they will find a new Mickey Mouse flower “portrait,” and lovely and festive Valentine’s decor all along Main Street, U.S.A. そして1月25日からは、トゥモローランドテラスにて「“Get Your Ears On” Celebration Dance Party」が開催されます。このダンスパーティーではディズニーのキャラクターたちが登場し、テーマソング「It’s a Good Time」などのディズニー楽曲でみんなで踊るというものになる予定です。

公式パークブログの「Inside Disney Parks」もあわせてどうぞ。ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド側ですがIt’s a Good Timeが利用される「Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party」の様子がでています。

なお、このイベント「Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration」なのですが、終了日は発表されていません（ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド側「Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration」は2019年9月30日までと明言されています）

個人的には短編ミッキーマウス（ミッキーマウス！／A Mickey Mouse Cartoon）ベースのグッズが大量にでてくれたのすっごくうれしいです。香港ディズニーランドのミッキーマウス生誕90周年グッズ、大きいぬいぐるみもミ！のほうのミッキーだったもんね。
