上記記事でもほんのちょっと触れた、ディズニー・アニマルキングダムの「Donald’s Dino-Bash!」について。このリリースでは明確に書かれていませんでしたが、パークの20周年を迎え新たな情報がいくつか出てきました。

まず、現地ではDinoland USAに新たに登場するこのイベントのアートが登場しました。現地ブロガーの投稿を。

このアートにあるように、これまで昔ながらの遊園地×恐竜をテーマにしていたDinoland USAに、ドナルドファミリーのテーマが加わり、新たにDonald’s Dino-Bash!として生まれ変わります。このエリアではドナルドダック、デイジーダック、グーフィー、プルート、ランチパッド、そしてチップ＆デールとのグリーティングができ、アートを見る限り多くのキャラクターが新コスチュームでの登場となります。チップデールがヤバめ（公式サイトにはありませんが、スクルージも登場するようですね）。

公式ページの内容を見ると、オープンは5月25日で、毎日午後4時から8時までの開催となっています。おそらくキャラクターグリーティングを含む、夕方スタートのパーティーイベント的な扱いになっているものと思われます。

この「Donald’s Dino-Bash!」、終了時期が出ておらずやきもきしていたのですが、現地のOrlando Sentinelによると「常設」であることが、ディズニーパークスのライブエンターテイメント、ショーディレクターのMark Renfrow氏のコメントとして出てきました。

“It feels legit,” Renfrow said. The overlay, designed to have a “slightly temporary feel,” will be a permanent part of the park, he said.

“It’s here forever,” Renfrow said. “It’s going to feel much more alive and definitely have so much more for the family and the kids.”

正直このチップ＆デールのコスチュームというか着ぐるみオン着ぐるみはヤバい。夏だけなのかアニマルキングダム20周年期間中だけなのか不安でしたが、アバターエリア構築で消滅したキャンプ・ミニーミッキーの代わりになり得る場所なのかもしれません。そうなるとこれまでのドナルド＆デイジーのコスチュームは貴重なのかも。

こちら、公式の写真が公開されていました。チップ＆デールがヤバめですね。キャラグリ属性がさほどない自分でもそう思うのだから相当ですよね…

ディズニー・アニマルキングダム20周年

(April 22, 2018): Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., marks its 20th anniversary today, on Earth Day, April 22, 2018. A special celebration commemorated the day with Disney characters, entertainers and executives. Over the years, the theme park has grown to include new attractions, animal conservation programs, and day and nighttime experiences such as Pandora – The World of Avatar. Guests who have visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom have also helped the Disney Conservation Fund direct more than $70 million to reverse the decline of wildlife in more than half the countries around the world.
