ディズニー・クルーズラインの新イベント「Marvel Day at Sea」が一部航路にて開催中です。その様子がリリースで公開されました。
以前お伝えしたように、このMarvel Day at Seaではマーベルのスーパーヒーローたちが集結し、クルーズ船内で多数のアクティビティが開催されるというもの。これまでパークには登場していなかったヒーロー／ヴィランズも登場する上に、ミッキーたちもそれに合わせたスタイルで登場し、既に話題になっていたものです。
このイベントでは、デッキ上でのショー「Marvel Heroes Unite」を開催。このショーには、アイアンマン、キャプテン・アメリカ、ソー、ホークアイ、ブラック・ウィドウのMCUアベンジャーズだけではなく、スパイダーマン、ドクター・ストレンジ、ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシー（ピーター・クイル、ガモーラ、グルート）までも登場。ヴィランズとしては先にディズニー・カリフォルニア・アドベンチャーにも登場したロキが存在しています。

さらに驚きなのは、日本でも2018年3月1日に公開される「ブラック・パンサー」がパーク＆リゾートとしてはじめて登場していること。かっこいいいいいいいい！！

さらに、ミッキーたちがマーベルファンとしての正装で登場し、デッキでのダンスパーティーを開催することも話題になっています。
In the “Mickey and Friends Super Hero Celebration” during Marvel Day at Sea, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and even Chip and Dale join in the fun as they dress up to honor their favorite Marvel Super Heroes for a dance party on deck. 子供向けにはMarvel’s Avengers Academyとして、スパイダーマンやブラック・ウィドウ、ソー、ホークアイなどがヒーローとは何かを教えるアクティビティが開催されるだけでなく、大人向けにはガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーをテーマにしたナイトクラブが登場。Awesome Mixをベースにしたサウンドトラックが使われているパーティーが行われているとのこと。
Marvel Day at Seaは2017年10月から2018年4月までの限定航路で開催。ちょっとどころではなく劇ヤバな内容でうらやましいです。

しかし不思議なのは、ミッキーをはじめとするディズニーキャラクターと既存IPの組み合わせ、以前はスター・ウォーズにおいて（おそらく）ブランド価値を高めるためにクロスオーバーさせないという決定があり、その結果ジェダイミッキーとか幻になったんですよねえ。
まあマーベルに関してはちょっと込み入った事情もあるから別なのかしらね。
