ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールドでは2017年も独立記念日（7月4日）を祝うイベントが開催されます。今回は4つのパークそれぞれで花火を含むナイトタイムエンターテイメントが行われ、そのいくつかが独立記念日特別バージョンにて行われる予定です。
マジック・キングダム「Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky」
マジック・キングダムでは2017年7月3，4日、夜21時より独立記念日を祝う特別な花火「Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky」が開催されます。これは普段とは比べものにならないくらいの物量の花火が楽しめるもの。2016年はライブ中継も行われました。
EPCOT「IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth」
エプコットで開催している「IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth」は、2017年7月4日21時より独立記念日特別バージョンで開催されます。
ディズニー・ハリウッドスタジオ「Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular」
こちらもおなじみになったスター・ウォーズテーマの花火＆プロジェクションで、夜21時30分より開催します（これまでと同様のバージョンのようです）。
ディズニー・アニマルキングダム「Rivers of Light」
ディズニー・アニマルキングダムも今年は21時15分、22時の2回夜のエンターテイメントが開催されます。こちらも通常バージョンのようです。

その他、各パークでさまざまなイベントが開催されます。まずはEPCOTのアトモスフィア・エンターテイメントである「Voices of Liberty」。こちらはワールド・ショーケースのアメリカガーデンシアターにて独立記念日を祝うコンサートを17時30分、18時45分、20時の3回開催。またポップなアカペラを披露する「American Music Machine」も13時、14時、15時、15時50分の4回開催します。
また、ディズニーキャラクターが特別なグリーティングを開催します。こちらもEPCOT、アメリカ館前にて開催です。

マジック・キングダムでは「The Muppets Present…Great Moments in History」もいつも通り開催。その他、ディズニー・グランド・フロリディアン・リゾートにおいてはマジック・キングダムの花火にあわせて、19時より特別な「All-American July 4 cookout」が開催されます（120ドル）。
自分も一回だけこの独立記念日にアメリカに滞在していたことがありますが、本当に浮き足立っていていいイベントだったことを思い出します（ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールドだけじゃなくてアメリカ全体が浮き足立ってる）。今年もライブストリーミングやってくれることを祈りつつ……。
