香港ディズニーランドは2017年3月16日から5月28日まで、春のイベント「Disney Friends Springtime Carnival」を開催します。これまで最大の「キャラクター中心」イベントであるとしています。フィーチャーされるキャラクターは100以上とのこと。

The park will present Disney Friends of the Month, characters old and new will take turns greeting guests for special photo moments. このイベントでは、30以上のディズニーの仲間たち、そして50人ほどのダンサーが登場する「Disney Friends Springtime Processional」が開催されます。さらにこの期間中、「Disney Friends of the Month」を開催、多くのディズニーキャラクターが香港パークにデビューするとのことです。
ファンタジーガーデンはこの期間中「Disney Friends Springtime Garden」に変更され、くまのプーさん、バンビをはじめとする作品からのキャラクターが登場。さらにパーク内では80を超えるキャラクターのエッグが配置されます。

そして、実写版の「Beauty and the Beast」公開に合わせ、関連するグッズが多数登場。さらにはPANDORAでも「美女と野獣」コレクションが販売されます。

「largest-ever character-centric springtime celebration」とは！！キャラクターに力を入れる香港ディズニーランドが攻め攻めですね。気になるのは「which many Disney characters will make their debut in the park」の部分ですね。キャラクターが新登場するとなると……。誰アナとか誰レナなのだろうか。楽しみです。（追記に続く）
んー、上記のwhich many Disney characters will make their debut in the parkについては、単にタマゴが追加されるだけかも、と思い始めてきた。というのも、ピンなどが毎月新たなモノが登場しているので、この程度の話かも。

なお、既にパークではガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシーやアイアンマンのタマゴまで登場しているようです。すごいな！
リリースの写真が追加されたので、文中に反映しました。これによると、「Disney Friends of the Month」として登場するのは、3月と4月はまず上記写真にあるベルと野獣、ピノキオ、ゼペット、ラッセル、カール、ダグが登場するようです。
