ディズニー・クルーズラインのニュースです。2017年秋より、ニューヨークを母港とするディズニー・マジックを利用したいくつかの航路にて、新たに「Marvel Day at Sea」が開催されることが発表されました。マーベルのヒーロー、そしてヴィランたちが登場し、丸1日のマーベルデーが開催されます。

Marvel Day at Seaでは、マーベルの映画世界である「マーベル・シネマティック・ユニバース」だけでなく、マーベルコミックやアニメーションシリーズの世界（正史であるマーベル・ユニバース）も含むものとして設定されるようです。マーベルテーマの子供向けアクティビティや、デッキでのパーティー、そして特別なグッズやメニューなども提供されます。もちろん、キャップ、スパイディ、ソーのグリーティングも行われます。
それだけでなく、音楽などもマーベルに合わせたものになったり、船内では最新のマーベル・シネマティック・ユニバース作品やDisney XDで放映されている映像なども流れるようですね。

対象となる航路は7泊および8泊航路の、ニューヨークを出発するバハマ航路で、2017年10月6、14、28日、11月4、11、18日出発のもの。すべての航路はディズニーのプライベートアイランドであるキャスタウェイ・ケイ、そしてポート・カナベラル（フロリダ）に寄港します。また、10月21日出発のカナダ航路でもMarvel Day at Seaを開催します。
なるほど、これならユニバーサルスタジオの契約に抵触せず、マーベルコンテンツを東海岸でも展開できますね（ユニバーサルスタジオパークとマーベルの契約上、ユニバーサル・スタジオ・フロリダの半径250マイル以内のテーマパークではマーベルキャラクターを登場させられない）。さえてる。これまでもキャプテン・アメリカはディズニー・クルーズライン内でグリーティングが行われていたので大きな驚きはないものの、スパイダーマンが使えるようになったのは本当に大きいですね（これもディズニーランド・パリなどでは登場済み）。
