2015年5月22日に24時間営業でスタートする、ディズニーランド・リゾート60周年を記念したスペシャルイベント「Diamond Celebration」のリリースが発表されました。プレスプレビューではミッキー＆ミニーの特別コスチュームや、新しいナイトパレード「Paint the Night」の一部プレビューも行われたようです。

公式パークブログによると、
Disneyland park guests will have the chance to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale in these dazzling new duds in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., throughout the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration.
とのことで、ミッキー、ミニー、グーフィー、プルート、ドナルド、デイジー、チップ＆デールはメインストリートUSAのタウンスクウェアにて新衣装によるグリーティングが開催されるようです。（update注：@DLthingsのMatthewさんが再びリーク画像を投稿していましたので追記）

さらに、Diamond Celebration期間中、「Disneyland Diamond Days」と名付けられたsweepstakesが実施され、Disneyland Dream Suiteへの宿泊を含む、さまざまなプレゼントが贈られるようです。ただし、見た感じ日本人は対象外の模様。
