東京ディズニーリゾート主要ショーに登場する、キャラクター、ボーカル、ダンサーの募集が2014年7月から順次開催されます。ビッグバンドビート、ミニー・オー！ミニー、ワンマンズ・ドリームII、キッチンビート、ミッキー＆カンパニーなどは2015年1〜3月から7カ月、もしくは1年程度は継続すると考えていいでしょう。

Male and Female Dancers
Disney Creative Entertainment, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Performers bring entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others.
One year contracts begin January/March 2015. Performers receive $800 (US dollars) per week, per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
Seeking the following roles:All height requirements are strictly adhered to.
Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 175cm +, Females 160cm-165cm, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability.Male Ballet Dancers: 165cm-173cm, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights.
Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 173cm +, strong solo tappers trained in jazz and tap with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers.
Disney Character Look-alikes
Disney Creative Entertainment, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Disney Character Look-alikes for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Seeking male and female performers with engaging personalities to portray Disney Character Look-alikes at the Tokyo Disney Resort. When performing in Character look-alike roles, performers develop improvisational skills while appearing before thousands of guests each day in “meet and greets”, parades, spectaculars and special events across the Tokyo Disney Resort. Candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height and personality; strong movement ability is required. Some roles also require strong acting abilities.
One year contracts begin January/February 2015. Performers receive $600 (US Dollars) per week, per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

Disney Parks Talent Casting, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Principal Vocalists for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Performers bring entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a live show celebrating hot Latin beats, to a rip-roaring, fun-filled good time at the Diamond Horseshoe.
Seven month contracts begin January/March 2015. Performers receive competitive salary $930 (US Dollars) per week, per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

Diamond Jim: Male, 20s-30s, Caucasian,178cm – 188cm, slender to normal build, strong and handsome leading man for the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, moves well, engaging with great ability to interact with an audience. Latin-style Pop Tenor: Male, 20s-30s, Latino, 175cm +, slender to normal build, good physique, pop idol looks and great charisma for “Minnie, Oh Minnie!”, a Latin-flavored revue, moves well, ability to sing in Spanish a plus, Pop Tenor to A flat.
’40s-style Male Vocalist: Male, late 20s-40s, African-heritage or Caucasian, 175cm +, thin to average build, seasoned principal vocalist for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, handsome and charismatic, can command a stage with his star quality and charm, moves well, tap a plus, Baritone/Tenor to a G.
’40s-style Female Vocalist: Female, 20s-40s, Caucasian, 160cm – 170cm, slender build, epitome of ’40s glamour, charismatic with strong stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, moves well, tap a plus, Soprano/Belt.
Blues Singer: Female, 20s-40s, African-heritage, 160cm – 173cm, slender to curvy build, glamorous and beautiful, charismatic with strong stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, moves well, Belt.
Female Dancers Who Resemble Ariel
Disney Creative Entertainment, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking beautifully trained Aerialists and Dancers with aerial experience who can act very well to portray Disney’s beloved Princess ‘Ariel’ for opening company in brand new concept production at Tokyo DisneySea® Park. Opening in Spring 2015. Directed by Sylvia Hase.
One year contracts begin January/March 2015. Performers receive $800 (US Dollars) per week, per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
Seeking the following roles:
Ariel: Ariel’s wide eyed charm and adventurous spirit are infectious but she can be just as head strong when dealing with matters that are important to her. As the entire production occurs suspended in the air, dancers must have strong abdominal/back muscles with beautiful port de bras and no fear of heights. Experience with 2 point harness a plus, but not required. Performer must be able to lip sync to Japanese track. (Japanese language not required)
Percussion Musicians
Disney Creative Entertainment, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking percussionists for “The Kitchen Beat Show” at Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
One year contracts begin March 2015. Performers receive $760 (US Dollars) per week, per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
Seeking 3 strong percussionists with great charisma and stage presence to play as part of a humorous trio; able to handle comedic dialogue and be physically expressive while utilizing kitchen utensils- frying pans, spatulas, etc- as percussion instruments.
契約の開始期間と契約自体の長さ、対象となっているショーを見ると、そのショーが少なくともいつまで開催なのかが分かるはず。今回はボーカリストのみ期間が7カ月となっております。これは前回2014年1月に開催されたときの要項と同じです。
残念ながら？今回も新情報らしい新情報は見つかりません。追記参照。かなり長寿なショーもこれまで同様の募集が行われていることから、東京ディズニーリゾートのショーは新しいものと入れ替えるのではなく、既存ショーをリニューアルし継続する戦略にしているのだろうと考えています。
また、フェイスキャラクターのオーディションの顔ぶれはこれまでとまったく同じであるため、現時点においては期待している新キャラクターの登場はないようです。要するにアナ＆エルサのことなのですが、これはもしかしたら単独でオーディションが開催されるのかもしれません。

いま気がつきました。今回ダンサーの部において、これまで同時に行われていた「ミスティックリズム」の募集がありません。
最後に募集が行われたのが2013年7月で、その時は2015年2〜3月までの契約となっています。このまま募集がおこなわれないとなると、ショー入れ替えがあるかもしれません。

上記で示唆しましたように、2015年4月5日でミスティック・リズムが終了となることが発表されました。
