ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド、マジック・キングダムにて2014年にスタート予定の「Disney Festival of Fantasy」の開始日が2014年3月16日になる、という話が出てきました。プレミア公開という扱いなので、正式なスタートはもう少し後になるのではないかと思います。
これは現在開催されているマジック・キングダムのデイパレード「Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade」をリプレースするもので、現パレードは現地における明日2014年1月4日が最終となるとのこと。確かに1月5日のショースケジュールには記載がありません。

さらにディズニー・アニマルキングダムでも動きが。まずキャンプ・ミニーミッキーエリアが1月5日を持ってクローズとなり、同時にフェスティバル・オブ・ライオンキングも6カ月近い休演で、アフリカエリアに建設中の新シアターに移動となります。これはアバターをテーマとしたエリアを現在のキャンプ・ミニーミッキーエリアに作るため。

新パレードのスタートがこんなにはやいとは認識してませんでした。そういや2014年春スタート予定だったなあ。そしてこのパレードをきっかけに、ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド全体のエンターテイメントをマジック・キングダムに集中するという話も。でもこれは結果的に以前の話にあった、上海ディズニーランドにイマジニアのリソースを集中するという話にもリンクしてそう。
